My philosophy of ministry can be summed up in the following manner – to exalt the Savior, to encourage the saints and to evangelize the sinner.  I believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and the gospel must go out into the whole world (Acts 1:8).  I believe in the faithful exposition of God’s word and am committed to expository preaching.  I believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).  I am in agreement with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message and am a supporter of the Cooperative Program.  I am committed to the local church and I desire to see God’s people reach out to this lost world.  I am committed to leading and serving God’s church with all my heart.  

My objective is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as a pastor of a Southern Baptist church. I desire to lead the church of God to accomplish the Great Commandment and the Great Commission through prayer, evangelism, discipleship, worship, fellowship, and ministry.
